The movie is a biographical-political drama about the life and controversies of the former Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh based on the 2014 memoir by Sanjaya Baru. During his time as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (Anupam Kher) and his media advisor Sanjaya Baru (Akshaye Khanna) have to deal with the enormous power and influence of the Gandhi family which especially manifests in the story oft he Nuclear scam and the Kasmir issue.
